Faith Build
Join other local churches and faith groups in putting God’s love into action and providing a new home for families in Hillsborough County.
Since our beginning in 1976, Habitat has been built on a foundation of faith. Our mission is to build safe, affordable housing with people in our community, and that comes from a desire to put God's love into action.
We are God’s hands and feet, here to serve others and show them His love. The tangible experiences that Habitat Tampa Bay Hillsborough provides allow you to engage those around you, live your faith and offer a unique opportunity to love your neighbor. You’ll also have the opportunity to work alongside our Faith Build Homeowner family as we build the home that will provide love, safety and stability for them.
No experience is necessary to volunteer, and all faith groups are welcome. We will teach you everything you need to know on the build site, and there are a variety of tasks both indoors and outdoors to participate in that require all levels of skill and ability.

A Faith Build project is a celebration of our faith partnerships. In bringing people together, regardless of religious affiliation, Habitat for Humanity of Tampa Bay Hillsborough becomes an agent of peace and reconciliation in our community.
Putting God's love into action is a ministry of inclusion. Faith build brings congregations together to raise the funds needed, provide the labor and prayer support to build a house in partnership with a local family. Our goal this year is to grow partnerships with all churches, of all faiths, at all levels of involvement. With Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County, faiths can share God’s love by building a home in our community, making a lasting difference in their lives. We will have ample volunteer opportunities.

This Christmas, join us in sharing the gift of home and hope. Through our Faith Build partnership with Pope Leo Village, you can help support a family in need and make their dream of safe, stable housing a reality. Together, we can build more than homes—we can build community.
