Put your faith into action through helping to build 8 homes for families in need 

Since our beginning in 1976, Habitat has been built on a foundation of faith. Our mission is to build safe, affordable housing with people in our community, and that comes from a desire to put God's love into action.

We are God’s hands and feet, here to serve others and show them His love. The tangible experiences that Habitat Tampa Bay Hillsborough provides allow you to engage those around you, live your faith and offer a unique opportunity to love your neighbor. You’ll also have the opportunity to work alongside our Faith Build Homeowner families as we build 8 homes that will provide love, safety and stability for them.

Thanks to an anonymous donor all donations will be matched dollar for dollar up to $100,000! 

This means your donation will go twice as far.   This donor has named the 8 homes we are building "Pope Leo Village" in honor of the first American Pope.  We are welcoming all faiths to join us... every donation of any size will help fund the cost of materials.  Sponsorship opportunities are also available.  

No experience is necessary to volunteer, and all faith groups are welcome. We will teach you everything you need to know on the build site, and there are a variety of tasks both indoors and outdoors to participate in that require all levels of skill and ability.
